The Primordial Record novel Chapter 1368

Ghribba the Silver Queen pushed through the gaps between reality as she headed towards her domain. As an eighth-dimensional being, she could access this tunnel that bridged the divide between space and time. ƒгeewebnovёl.com

With this tunnel it was possible to return to the past as long as you had the energy stores to accommodate such an expenditure, although you could only view the past, it was an extremely useful tool to be able to learn, it was one of the greatest reasons why eighth-dimensional entities were so powerful, they had all of time to learn from, and their powerful souls and consciousness were unmatched.

It was also possible to traverse through extreme stretches of space using this tunnel, making eighth-dimensional immortals become some of the only entities in existence that could reach across all of reality. Of course, there were supreme geniuses with Primordial Bloodlines that could access this tunnel at the seventh-dimensional level, Ghribba had learned not to measure those with Primordial Bloodlines with common sense.

This tunnel was broadly known as the Passage of Time, and to traverse it had its challenges, but with a firm grasp of Destiny as an eighth-dimensional immortal, Ghribba was mostly isolated from the dangers inherent in this tunnel, and she could ponder on other things as she streaked across space and time.

From the moment she sensed the beginning of the demise of her domain to its ending, barely a few seconds had passed and this gave her many clues as to what could have done such a thing, and at the same time also fewer clues, because the act of shattering an eighth-dimensional realm like hers would cost an extreme amount of energy and she saw no reason why any powerful immortal would choose to waste that energy on a relatively insignificant realm like Aerovah.

Aerovah was a commercial hub, and so its defenses, while not top-tier, were still standard enough that it would delay even an eighth-dimensional immortal for a few seconds. Ghribba would need at least nine seconds to tear through the dome of defense covering Aerovah before she could begin destroying the realm, yet she was sure that not even two seconds went by before her realm was destroyed.

In her head, she was already listing the sorts of immortals that she knew were capable of tearing the defenses of the realm in an instant, and every name she placed in that list made her countenance grimmer, and the only reason she was pressing on towards her destination was that she knew that the Celestials would be coming behind her, whatever had happened in Aerovah must be related to them, and they carried much bigger sticks than her.

It would take her a few minutes to reach her realm, and although she had misgivings about encountering the party responsible for destroying it, Ghribba’s abilities were geared towards defense instead of offense, and she believed that she could hold up well enough until she received reinforcement.

As she grew closer to Aerovah, the subtle sense of disquietness that had been growing inside her mind made Ghribba look into herself to find the source of that apprehensiveness, and the answer that came to her was—Light or the lack thereof.

Traversing through the Passage of Time was difficult enough in normal circumstances, however, this passage was now dark, and this unnatural aura of this passage that was rumored to be the dead body of Primordial Time seemed to press into her consciousness with a vicious weight.

As an eighth-dimensional being that had been alive from the dawn of the Supreme Era, there had been a single constant that had been present in all her life that over the eons became a standard staple that was easily brushed over, and that was the Frozen Road.

This creation of Primordial Chaos had become something that was seen as eternal, a vast frozen road that extended across all of existence, and because it was reflective, it was able to bounce the light emerging from every dimension in existence. It was that light that gave existence its unique glow.

It was this glow that Ghribba had chased from the oceans of her home world until she could walk on the higher roads of existence, and now this glow was gone, and in its place was seemingly eternal darkness.

She was moving through reality at speeds that were countless times faster than light, and she had never felt more alone.

Roads had always been a sign of connection—and unknown to her and she would assume many others that would soon be coming to this realization—the Frozen Road had been the quiet bond holding all the multiple dimensions in existence together, reminding them that although reality was vast and filled with horrors, that in a way, they were all connected.

Now, with the destruction of this road, existence seemed to have returned to the dark, and every dimension had become lonely islands sailing on a deep ocean with no signs of light, or the presence of a neighbor. Even in the passage that Ghribba traveled through, the light of the Frozen Road had been able to stream into it and made the passage glow. Now she could swear that there were eyes peering deep into her soul from this passage, and it felt hungry.

This was not the lower realm where time was extremely malleable and an immortal of her power could twist and turn it as she wished, no this was a dimension belonging to her, that was extremely stable and despite her powers, she could not simply turn back the tides of destruction without paying a grievous price, and that was because this was her realm, the seat of her power.

Even all of these was nothing before the fact that she had two sets of bloodline crystals inside of her body. She did not want to begin wrapping her head around how that should be possible. Experience more on freewebnovel

Already, there were several powerful immortals across Aerovah that had detected her presence and a delegation was being created to welcome her.

She did not know why she turned her gaze to the distance, at a nondescript location in space, and then she saw what should be the outline of a man, but she could not be sure, because it was almost as if she was peering at an unknown reality at the same time, and her mind was struggling to reconcile these two different perspective on a single entity.

As if alerted to her gaze, this being that had almost vanished, paused, and she heard a voice in her head, almost similar to the whisper that had drawn her across the passage,

"My gift to you…" and then there was thought to be the fading sound of laughter and the presence was gone, accompanied by what she thought was a flash of blue light.

She did not know how long she was frozen in place until the sound of a nervous cough drew her attention back to reality.

A handsome man with bright blue hair stood before a delegation of tens of millions, and except for him, all of them had their heads bowed. They were kings, queens, emperors, and empresses here, great immortals who had lived for many Eras, but before a supreme being like Ghribba, the Silver Queen, they all had to bow before her presence.
