Chapter 438.
When Nora experienced the death of her parents and was lying in a hospital bed with a comminuted fracture to recuperate, she regretted it and was even more frightened.
She cried so hard that she couldn't breathe, and her voice trembled: "I know I did a lot of wrong things in the past, and I promise I won't do it again in the future. I will learn to be a good wife and won't cause trouble for you anymore. Al I ask for is that you marry me."
Alexander was silent and did not answer for a long time.
When she didn't get an answer, Nora continued: "You promised Lauryn that you would take care of me for the rest of your life. You can't leave me behind."
She used this universal trump card, and Alexander had no room to refuse.
He closed his eyes and thought about Aveline's face.
He replied feebly: "Okay, I promise you."
After getting his approval, Nora burst into tears and smiled, "I knew you wouldn't let me go."
Alexander hung up the phone, and the old man breathed a sigh of relief.
"Fortunately, you are not that kind of ungrateful person. You have also seen the situation in the Kingsley family now, so your marriage should be arranged sooner rather than later. What I mean is that you should hold a wedding with Nora as soon as possible, so that you can also bring happiness to her and help her get better faster."
Alexander's mind was already empty. He was just thinking about one thing, and he was going to break his promise again.
He was obviously ready to make up for Aveline, but in the end, he still couldn't do it.
"Alexander, did you listen intently to what I said to you?"
"What?"
"I said that everything should be kept simple for this wedding. I have a good date. It will be at the end of this month. Do you have any objection?"
The old man stopped and looked at him seriously, "What did you find out?"
"We have found everything that can and cannot be investigated. Old man, do you know that it is precisely because you are greedy for medicine from the Poisonous Worm and joined forces with Mrs.
Dorssey that you reached this point today."
The old man's eyes were red, and veins popped out on his forehead, "I just hate that woman. I thought that with her gone, Elizabeth would marry again and give the Kingsley family a son and a half, but I didn't expect Nora to be so stupid that she would follow her words and carry out her evil intentions."
Until that moment, the old man still didn't know the true identity of Mrs. Dorssey. Alexander sighed helplessly, "I hope you can stop here.
Don't say it can't happen to you. The royal families abroad colluded with the Poisonous Worm and they were all eaten away in the end. The Kingsley family is already like this. You must not do it again."
"I understand."
The old man's figure was shaky, his back was hunched, and he left step by step with a cane.

The readers' comments on the novel: Refusing To Be His Perfect Replica I Choose The Arranged Marriage
The plot is getting really inconsistent now! In the beginning when Aveline was dating some guy named Castro, before marrying Alexander, she had an elder brother supposedly.. but later she became an only child. Not to mention half of the beginning of the story was so mistyped. Also she used to be a jewellery designer, then overnight she became a medical student. Also 200 chapters later, Alexander is still hiding the truth that Jamie is her biological son. Also what a stupid new detail, how the hell did she get pregnant??? When Alexander was feverish, the writer specifically mentioned that they only stopped at kissing.. does kissing makes one pregnant?? Also, the psychotic bitch that Aveline had become, as if she would have allowed Alexander to have s** with her! Get your facts right writer if you still want your readers.. as this story is getting way out of context and just ridiculous!! I had decided to continue give this story another chance but now it seems that this was a huge waste of time!...
