Refusing To Be His Perfect Replica I Choose The Arranged Marriage novel Chapter 303

Chapter 303

Aveline stopped crying and sobbed. Her tearful eyes met Bryce's clear eyes.

Her face was clearly reflected in it. There was no trace of immaturity on his handsome face but instead a rare mature, and serious look.

Worries?

Anthony has been taken care of by him. As for revenge, as long as she lives, she will come back sooner or later.

Alexander's face flashed through her mind, and Aveline quickly shook that face away.

"No, I just want to see my dad before leaving. Is that convenient?"

"Okay, I'll make arrangements."

Aveline continued to treat Bryce's wounds, wrapping a gauze around Bryce's strong back.

Aveline was shocked to find that there were many wounds on his body, "Bryce, why do you have so many wounds?"

Bryce chuckled: "Aveline, did I never tell you about my family? Do you want to hear it?"

"Yes."

Aveline brought a basin of hot water and gently cleaned the blood on his body.

"My mother passed away early, but I never mentioned she was driven to death by my father, who was a violent domestic abuser."

Aveline twisted the hand holding the hot napkin and turned her head to look at Bryce.

Under the light of the dim yellow wall lamp, the young man's face lost its youthfulness and looked particularly mature. Just like his figure, it was not what she remembered.

Bryce raised his head slightly, revealing his Adam's apple. He smiled softly, his voice a little hoarse.

"My dad likes money and alcohol in his life. Whenever something goes wrong in business, he will beat my mother when he comes back drunk.

Growing up, only you would care about whether I had eaten or not, and would take me home to celebrate the New Year. In my heart, you are the angel who redeemed me."

Aveline thought about Bryce's untalkative temperament when he was a child. He exchanged contact information with her before leaving. At first, she cared about him frequently during the years when he went abroad.

How did it end?

Oh, after she started dating Alexander, he didn't like her being too close to the opposite sex.

But she didn't know that Bryce had suffered such pain.

"Don't be afraid Bryce, it's all over."

Bryce's hand that was hanging in the air clasped her waist little by little, and as he hummed slightly the hand clasping her waist kept closing again and again.

"Well, it's all over."
