Jamie eagerly awaited the moment to meet Aveline again. He stumbled towards her, running. 

Aveline smiled and reached out her hand to him, “Sweetie, do you want to leave with Auntie?” 

Jamie didn’t know what she meant, but since she reached out her hand to him, he just needed to grab it. 

Without hesitation, he placed his chubby little hand in Aveline’s palm and let her pick him up. He wrapped his arms around her neck. 

First, he rubbed against her like a little puppy and affectionately called out, “Mommy.” 

Aveline looked at him lovingly, “Silly child, I’m not your mommy, you should call me your Auntie.” 

At this moment, everyone had gathered at the front of the cruise ship to watch the fireworks on the 

water. 

Holding the child, Aveline smoothly made her w 

way through the crowd. 

Aveline carried the child back to her room, where there was a small cake waiting. She put a birthday hat on the child, lit the candles, and gently sang him a happy birthday song. 

Jamie didn’t know what she was doing, but he smiled when she smiled. 

Aveline took out a small jade lock from a little box. It had a cute and unique design, with translucent jade and a small engraved letter “J” on it. 

“This is what Auntie prepared for my baby. Since you called him by his name, Auntie will give it to you.” 

The little guy reached out to grab the jade lock, and his smiling face resembled Alexander’s. 

Aveline hung the jade lock around his neck and kissed Jamie on the face. “Darling, happy birthday.” 

She looked at Jamie affectionately, thinking that if her own child hadn’t died, today would have been like 

this too. 

Aveline cut two slices of cake, and she even picked out the cream and fruit for Jamie. But since he couldn’t eat properly with a spoon, he could only wave his chubby little hand around or lower his head and lick the plate, getting some cream on his little nose.

She laughed and ate the cake heartily, but tears couldn’t stop flowing from her eyes,

My father treated me well, raised me even until I fell in love with a man and had a baby. to me?” 

The child hugged Aveline tightly, and her tears fell onto Jamie’s neck. 

Jamie didn’t know why she always had so many tears, but he knew he didn’t want to see the woman in front of him cry. 

“Mama, no, no.” He struggled to say, unable to say anything more. 

Aveline wiped away her tears and, following the original plan, carried Jamie to the second–floor deck.
