While Maya went to the boss to peel garlic, Aveline changed her profile picture to a photo that Maya had just taken for her.
She took a picture of the sea view and captioned it, “Distant horizon.”
Aveline had no idea that there was a car parked downstairs in her apartment building, and Alexander saw her leaving from behind.
Thinking about the five hundred million she donated, it made him feel uneasy, just like the day she jumped off the building.
He wanted an answer.
Aveline and Maya still hadn’t come back, so he waited in the car.
Until Jordan spoke up, “Mr. Sterling, Madam is still eating barbecue. She probably won’t be back for a while.”
“Where is she?”
“It seems like Starlight Road. Madam just posted on her Moments.”
Alexander immediately opened his phone, and on Moments, there was still a link shared by a health guru, “Shocking! Eating fried eggs can actually cause this disease!”
The time showed it was posted an hour ago.
“When did she post this?”
“22 minutes ago.” Jordan noticed that Alexander’s expression was getting colder and his voice quieter. “Mr. Sterling, can’t you see it?”
Alexander tightly gripped his phone, gritting his teeth. “She deleted me.”
This was awkward. She deleted the boss but not herself. Jordan cautiously reminded him, “Madam also changed her nickname and profile picture.”
Alexander snatched the phone from him.
The new Moments post only showed a blurry view of the sea. Alexander asked, “What does she want to express?”
“Yes.”
Through the Moments post that Maya had just shared, Jordan easily guessed the address and quickly arrived near that shop.
When Aveline came out supporting the heavily drunk Maya, small snowflakes were already falling from the sky.
She immediately saw the man standing by the roadside, tall and slender, almost blending into the darkness. If it weren’t for the flickering crimson in his hand, she wouldn’t have been able to see him.
Maya pushed her away and cursed loudly under the streetlight, “Alexander, if I could beat you and if I had money like you, and if I didn’t have your lackeys by my side, I would have come at you with a forty–meter long knife and hit you twice on the head…”
Jordan quickly covered her mouth with his hand and said to Aveline, “Ms. Blackwood, let me take your friend home first.”

The plot is getting really inconsistent now! In the beginning when Aveline was dating some guy named Castro, before marrying Alexander, she had an elder brother supposedly.. but later she became an only child. Not to mention half of the beginning of the story was so mistyped. Also she used to be a jewellery designer, then overnight she became a medical student. Also 200 chapters later, Alexander is still hiding the truth that Jamie is her biological son. Also what a stupid new detail, how the hell did she get pregnant??? When Alexander was feverish, the writer specifically mentioned that they only stopped at kissing.. does kissing makes one pregnant?? Also, the psychotic bitch that Aveline had become, as if she would have allowed Alexander to have s** with her! Get your facts right writer if you still want your readers.. as this story is getting way out of context and just ridiculous!! I had decided to continue give this story another chance but now it seems that this was a huge waste of time!...
