Her husband of three years, Cal, was home for the night. He only came home from the city once or twice a week. He’d crawled into their marital bed and pulled her right towards him, his hands sliding down her body caressively and his mouth hot on her neck.

She shifted herself to lay down comfortably on her stomach, and turned her face to look at his profile, in the darkness of the room. It was perfect, she thought to herself absently.

“Sleep.” He murmured and smacked her on her bare backside.
