Cara wasn't sure what his reaction meant and approached Bella cautiously. "Ms. Jones, should we go to the hospital to get things checked out?"

Belle waved her hand. "No, I'll be fine. Cara, please have someone install a surveillance camera at the door. If they dare to return tomorrow, call the police immediately."

Cara hesitated. "But that woman threatened to sue you. Since it's your father, maybe you should pay a bit of money each month to prevent complications."

However, Bella firmly stated, "I won't give them a single cent! Every time I give in, they'll only demand more. They're a bottomless pit! I already gave them 1.5 million. Now, look at how quickly they're back! Do you think this is the kind of problem that can be solved with a small amount?"

As they reached the elevator, she noticed both elevators were still on the top floor. This made her wonder if he had taken the stairs up.

He turned to look at her with amusement. "Are you worried about me or about someone else?"

Her cheeks flushed slightly, but she didn't answer.

Back at the house, Lia and Cara enthusiastically recounted the incident to Dominic. Lia was particularly enraged as if she wanted to tear Elaine apart.

Dominic remained calm. "I've got it. I'll stay here and wait for them to arrive."

After hearing this, she felt reassured and carried the fruits in her hands. "Well, I'll head out, then. Thank you, by the way. These fruits are a real delight."

He playfully joked back, "No worries. Take as much as you want. I'll settle the bill with Leonard later."
